BlazBlue tries way too hard to buy you in with shitty fanservice, it’s so transparent and really sad to observe. Also the main heroine is the biggest crybaby ever, and you will want to punch her in the face repeatedly. The same can be said about the main hero. He’s an ugly no-brain idiot who does nothing but shout, and for some reason the ladies still flock around him. Yeah right. And then there are tons of obligatory generic catgirls, mecha musumes, magical girls and big-breasted china women head over heels in love with slimy abominations. Ewh. The story is a massive clusterfuck, it’s like they just wanted to incorporate everything that a teenage boy might think is cool. And there’s lots of incest and pedophilia. Basically every single character is a massive creeper in one way or another, you’ll notice when you see them. And there’s the obnoxiously smug overpowered villain who just talks way too much. Fuck him.
